In order to take the Outdoor School course you have to first get pre-authorized. This is a very simple process, all you have to do is email your name and ID number to serve@uoregon.edu and say you want to get pre-authorized. You can also stop by the SLP and tell a staff member in person.
After the pre-authorization request is complete, the block on Duckweb will be lifted allowing you to register. It is recommended that you submit your request for pre-authorization well in advance of the deadline. While every effort will be made to process late pre-authorization requests, those received after the deadline may not be processed, and those made less than two prior to the deadline cannot be guaranteed.
Students will not necessarily receive a confirmation email when the pre-authorization has been processed. Generally, students can register for their pre-authorized course about 3 - 5 days after submitted this request.
