Description
Volunteers will be trained about Emergency Birth Control, The EBC Access Project and the specifics of the Public Education Campaign. Volunteers are asked to work directly in there own community to hand out printed materials including flyers and postcards. This is an on-going or one-time project great for groups and individuals.

Mission
The Emergency Birth Control Access Projects mission is to decrease barriers to access by: -Educating Pharmacists about how Emergency Birth Control works and its proper use - Increasing awareness among Health Care Providers offering Contraceptive Services about the need to talk with their patients about Emergency Birth Control - Engaging and educating the public about Emergency Birth Control and dispelling the myths surrounding it; Emergency Birth Control does not cause an abortion, will not interfere with an existing pregnancy, and does not impact a womans ability to become pregnant in the future - Distributing information about where women can go to access on-going birth control services, including EBC, in their community.
