Mission
Early Childhood CARES provides special education services for children ages birth to five. The agency provides a variety of services to more than 1,200 children in Lane County, including speech, physical and occupational therapy, autism and behavior services and specialized preschool.

Early Childhood CARES will host its 5th annual Power of Parenting Conference on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. until noon. The conference is designed to help parents of children with special needs learn about a variety of parenting topics, and build a sense of community amongst parents who many times feel isolated and overwhelmed.

We need volunteers who have already completed a criminal background check to help us provide childcare to Early Childhood CARES families so parents may attend the conference. We would welcome volunteers who also speak Spanish, as we will have some Spanish-speaking children in childcare.
